Aurela

Aurela was a Lithuanian charter airline based in Vilnius and base on the Vilnius airport.

History

Aurela was founded in 1995 as the first private airline of Lithuania and started operations in 1996 with a Tupolev Tu- 134A on. 2001 Hawker HS -125 -700 an eight -seater machine for VIP flights was procured. 2003, the fleet was expanded by a JAK- 42D. 2004, which Lithuania joined the European Union in the year, the JAK- 42D for economic reasons was replaced with a Boeing 737-300. The most prominent passengers were the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and Pope John Paul II in 2004 and 2005. Objectives
