The outlier is a German short film from 2004. Directed by the director Ulrike Grote. The film was a work as part of their film studies at the Hamburg Media School. Action

Walter is on the way to a job interview. Along the way he encounters the six -year-old Yuri. This was claiming to be the son of Walter. He asks Walter that he brings him to school. Walter asks, first clarified the situation and get rid of the annoying Yuri on the other as quickly as possible. It turns out that Yuri's mother, a certain Kathrin, actually once had an affair with Walter. But Kathrin is nowhere to be found.
