Austin K5

The Austin K5 was a heavy British military trucks by the Austin Motor Co.. built during the Second World War.

The K5 was used with open cab and body and a installed on it QF 6- pounder anti-tank gun " Portee " in the African campaign or with a closed cab for the General Service ( GS). Versions with closed bodywork have been used in the UK for the rescue and evacuation.

From 1941 to 1945, a total 12,280 copies were manufactured.
