The Auto AG Schwyz ( AAGS ) is a licensed bus operation in Switzerland and was founded in 1922 as a public company. It operates three local bus routes and nine regional routes in and around the town of Schwyz. The AAGS buses run to a total of 205 stops. Stops announcer is the locally renowned teacher and actor Urs Kundig. Be operated while the communities Gersau Ingenbohl, Lauerz, Morschach, Muotathal, saddle and stones.

Line network

Line 1

The line runs from Lauerz or Seewen Seewenmarkt over the Schwyz Train and Schwyz Post to Muotathal. The line 6 is used there as a continuation. Line 1B

Line 2

Line 3

THe Line 3 runs from Seewenmarkt about Schwyz SBB, from there in the direction Rickenbach about Rösslimatt, Ibach post, Mythencenter, Schwyz post, Rickenbach. In the direction Seewen the line serves 3, the stations of Line 1 on the Bahnhofstrasse Schwyzer.

From the timetable change in December 2010, the new line runs in both directions via Ibach, but the stop Ibach post will continue to be served only in the direction of Schwyz.

Line 4

This line runs between wells SBB and Morschach LMS ( valley station cable car Morschach - Stoos ). Some buses terminate already in Morschach post, other first run of Schwyz post below the line 2 to wells SBB, then directly under the line 4 to Morschach, so that a transfer-free connection between Schwyz and Morschach is possible.

Line 5

The line 5 is operated only in the summer. It begins in Schwyz post, initially follows the line 3 to the terminus Rickenbach Stalden, then the Ibergeregg to Oberiberg. There is connection to the postal bus network in the area to Einsiedeln. The van, which travels over the Ibergeregg is equipped with a post horn and also bears the insignia of the post car. Line 6

Formerly part of line 1, line 6 connects the station Muotathal post with Sali, the valley station of the cable car to the Glattalp.

Line 7

This line runs on the track Schwyz Saddle Roth -Altmatt - Biberbrugg and is operated jointly with the Swiss South-East Railway (SOB ). Served as a standard connection Schwyz- saddle, in recent years it has been extended several times over Rothenthurm Station Altmatt and as of December 2004, according to Biberbrugg where the AAGS and the post bus network are connected to each other around Einsiedeln. Line 28/2E

Bus number 28 runs from the S -Bahn station Root D4 after Küssnacht, and then continue as Riviera Trans Express ( line 2E) along the line 2 to Vitznau, stopping at selected stops.

Line 29

The line 29 leads from Küssnacht about Merlischachen to Meggen.

Line 9

Line 9 is the local and school bus of Weggis. Prior to the inclusion of the SGV bus routes in the route network AAGS this line was operated by the SGV. As a transport officer figured Wegmüller, Weggis.

Line 30

Line 30 is one of the two local bus lines of Schwyz. It connects the hospital ( also connected to the Line 1) to the central bus station Schwyz Post and the residence quarters Mangelegg. Line 31

N4

Line 39

The line was introduced in summer 2008 for the transfer of pupils in the Canton of Schwyz School College for Teachers Seminar Rickenbach. The official designation is line 39, the buses are, however, written with " school bus PPS ". The buses as additional courses on line 3, or in between. Students and teachers travel free with appropriate passes.

Former lines

Line 8

A minibus operated as line 8 the distance from Gersau to the valley station of the cable car Obergschwänd Rigi Burggeist. The line was set timetable change in December 2008 due to lack of profitability.

Line 10

Since the summer of 2008, a minibus under the name Pragelbus from the stop Muotathal Hoelloch (line 1) Pragelpass wrong after Richisau. Bus depot

Trivia

  • During the reconstruction phase of the Canton Schwyz 2008-2010 school college offers the AAGS for the students free bus transfer ( price and extra buses) between Schwyz and post Rickenbach SZ, since there is the alternate site.
  • The bus line number 4 carry early in the morning even the mail between wells and Morschach.

Snappy Reisen AG

Takeover by the AAGS

In 2004, the AAGS the Snappy Reisen AG, a Carbetrieb from Brunnen SZ. The company figured since as a subsidiary of AAGS and also placed the fleet of wells into AAGS bus depot "Diesel ". The empty halls in wells have since been hired by several car garages as well as from a plumbing company.

Work together
