Auto Club 400

The Auto Club 400 is a race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup, which will be held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. It is next to the Pepsi Max 400 is one of two races, held on this Speedway. Before the changes to the racing calendar in 2005, the race took place in May, and since then the Tenntermin was brought forward - 2011 to March. The Auto Club 400 is a relatively new race on the calendar of NASCAR. The first race, still under the name California 500, was held on 22 June 1997. In the 2011 season, the race distance was shortened from 500 to 400 miles, after they had already had good experiences with the race shortening of the autumn events.
