Automobile Competition Committee for the United States

The Automobile Competition Committee for the United States ( Abbr: ACCUS ) is the umbrella organization for automobile racing in the United States of America. The ACCUS has the national sporting authority in the United States.

The ACCUS represents the national interests in the world FIA associations, where it has the status of an ASN (French: Autorité Sportive Nationale, support the national sports authority). Accordingly, the ACCUS is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of international rules and licensing and is authorized to issue international FIA licenses for your national license.

Tasks

  • Cooperation between Member Associations, other national sports authorities and the FIA
  • Providing dates for the international calendar
  • Exhibition of international motorsport licenses to U.S. and foreign citizens in the U.S.
  • Exhibition of starting permits
  • Exhibition of historical vehicle documents and passports Cart
  • Motorsport homologation of new vehicles and equipment
  • Monitoring and recording of national and international records

The National Motor Sports Council (NMC ) within the ACCUS is a working group in which cooperation among Member Associations, the racetrack operators and the industry to promote motorsports.
