The Autostrada A29 (Italian for, A29 ' ), also called Autostrada del Sale, is an Italian highway in Sicily, which runs from Palermo to Mazara del Vallo, in the southwest of the island. It is 114 km long and completely toll-free.

The highway has in connection with the A19 Palermo - while it opens at the end point in Mazara del Vallo in the state road SS 115 (Palermo Catania). Trivia
On the whole of the highway no fuel is present. This will already pointed out shortly after the beginning of the highway in Palermo on a sign. Gas stations that can be reached quickly via an exit, however, are signposted.
On May 23, 1992 committed the Sicilian Mafia ( Cosa Nostra ) near the exit " Capaci " an attack on the lawyer Giovanni Falcone. He, his wife and three bodyguards were killed.
