Stylistically, it is in most of the pieces to melodic Power Metal with a voluminous sound and many orchestral passages, why Avantasia are sometimes also associated with the symphonic metal. There are, however with Inside and In Quest For two songs that are largely accompanied only by piano. The first part also contains three short instrumentals.
