Avenger (Anime)

Avenger (Japaneseアヴェンジャー) is an anime television series from the year 2003. The series can be assigned to the science fiction genre.

Action

In the future, Mars has been colonized from Earth. The earth is now destroyed and Mars threatens because of the approaching moon a disaster. The Martians live in domed cities that are ruled by a group of settlers of the first hour, led by Volg and competing for scarce resources in fighting competitions. Because of the hostile environment, the settlers have become sterile and therefore have robots in children figure as a substitute around.

Layla, who is looking for revenge for their past, has been nominated as champion one of these cities for this fight competition. After a struggle, she leaves the city to continue their search in the company of a doll and a doll technician. Gradually it turns out that it is the robot doll to a real child, the hope of Mars is. All threads of the plot run up to the final battle with Volg.

Formation and Publications

The series, which comprises thirteen episodes each with a duration of about half an hour, was created in the animation studio Bee Train and Xebec.
