The Aveyron is a river in southern France. The department of Aveyron was named after the river.

Geography

It rises at Sévérac -le- Château in the west of the Causse de Sauveterre, flows parallel to the east-west direction to the north extending solder and the south extending Tarn and flows for a distance of 291 kilometers to the municipal boundary of Villemade and Lafrançaise as right Creek in the Tarn.
