As an artist, he was known primarily as a participant in the Euro Vision Song Contest. In 1982 he represented Israel in this competition, reaching with his song Hora behind Nicole from Germany in second place, but with a gap of 61 points.
The next year he composed the Israeli contribution Khay of Ofra Haza. The song also reached number two.
He also participated several times in the Israeli preliminary decision Kdam - Euro vision.
