Avigdor Kahalani

Avigdor Kahalani (Hebrew אביגדור קהלני, born June 16, 1944 in Nes Ziona ) is a former Israeli politician and Brigadier General. He bears the honorary title of the act aluf (Hebrew תת - אלוף ), lit. "Under - aluf ".

Life

Kahalani studied at the University of Tel Aviv, where he earned a bachelor's degree in history. He then moved to the University of Haifa, where he received a master's degree in political science. He worked as a deputy of the party HaDerech HaSchlischit 18 June 1996 to 6 July 1999 as the Minister of Public Security.
