Avra Valley is a census -designated place in Pima County in the U.S. state of Arizona.

The town has about 5,000 inhabitants on an area of 57 square km. Avra Valley is located off Interstate 10 near Tucson, and, with the Avra Valley Airport via an airport. Not far from the town is the El Trio Gliderport.

The Ironwood Forest National Monument, a 76,800 -acre park is located south-west.
