Awa (Tokushima)

Awa (Japanese阿波 市, -shi) is a city in Tokushima Prefecture in Japan.

History

The city Awa was on 1 April 2005 from the former municipalities Awa (阿波 町, -chō ) and Ichiba (市场 町, -chō ) of the district Awa, and Donari (土 成 町, -chō ) and Yoshino (吉野 町, -chō ) of the district Itano founded.
