Awilco Offshore

Awilco Offshore was a company from Norway, based in Oslo.

Awilco Offshore builds and operates oil platforms. The company was formed in February 2005 when it took over the offshore oil sector by the company Anders Wilhelmsen Group and at the same time, the company acquired NOK. In April 2005, acquired Awilco Offshore 20.7 percent of the company Petro Jack. In December 2005, merged with the company Awilco Offshore Rig Services.

In July 2008, China Oilfield Services for Offshore Awilco a takeover bid in the amount of 2.5 billion U.S. dollars issued, adopted by the company. In September 2008, the acquisition was completed and Awilco Offshore fully integrated into the existing group structure.
