The AXA Sports Center, to the renovated 2005 Scaniarinken, is an ice hockey stadium in Södertälje, Sweden. The stadium will host the home matches of Södertälje SK.

History

The AXA Sports Center was built in 1970 as Scaniarinken by the City Council Södertäljes and served as the home ground of the local sports clubs. In 2005, the Scaniarinken from the Hockey Club Södertälje SK was acquired from the Elitserien and renovated. Then, the arena received its present name. Although the AXA Sports Center is primarily used for ice hockey games, attend as required, the teams Södertälje Kings (men) and telco Energi (ladies) of the floorball team Balrog IK Botkyrka basketball club Södertälje BBK and their home games at the stadium.
