Axel Berg (politician)

Axel Berg ( born March 26, 1959 in Stuttgart ) is a German politician ( SPD).

Life and career

After high school, graduated from Mount a study of law and political science in Munich, Tübingen and Frankfurt, which he finished with the first legal state exam. Since 1993, Berg has worked as an independent lawyer.

Axel Berg is married.

Member of Parliament

From 1998 to 2009 he was a member of the German Bundestag. Here he was from 2000 to 2002 chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Enquete Commission Sustainable energy supply. From 2006 he was deputy speaker of the Group's Working Group on Energy.

Axel Berg is fed three times a directly elected representative of the constituency München-Nord in the Bundestag. In the 2005 federal election he reached here 43.7% of the primary vote. Berg was after leaving Christopher Moss Bauer is the only directly elected Bavarian SPD deputy in the German Bundestag.
