Axilla
The axillary (Latin: axilla ) referred in anatomy to the area between the shoulder and the chest wall. In a narrower sense, however, is with the armpit armpit meant the anatomical space under the shoulder, the front is limited by the pectoralis major, latissimus dorsi muscle from the back and to the inside of the chest, but it is under the skin.
