Aylesbury Vale
Aylesbury Vale is a district in the county of Buckinghamshire in England. It is named after the valley in the Chiltern Hills, in which the chief town is Aylesbury. Council is based in Aylesbury; significant sights are Buckingham and Winslow.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the boroughs of Aylesbury and Buckingham, the Rural Districts Aylesbury, Buckingham and Wing and part of Winslow Rural District.
