Ayten Mutlu

Ayten Mutlu (* October 6, 1952 Bandırma ) is a Turkish poet and writer.

Life

She graduated in 1975 a management degree at Istanbul University and then worked at the Turkish Central Bank. She was active in the women's movement and political.

She has published poetry, fiction, short stories and criticism and translated contemporary and historical poets from English into Turkish.

It is considered a master of the condensed language. Her poetry reflects her inner struggles as well as a look at the world in which all the horror and beauty are mixed at once and often seen.
