Ayub Daud

Ayub Daud (Arabic أيوب داؤود Ayyub Da'ud, DMG Ayyub dA ʾ ūd; born 24 February 1990 in Mogadishu, Somalia) is a Somali footballer.

He is a midfielder and currently plays for the Italian giants Juventus, where he has a contract until 2013. Daud, both as a left winger in midfield than be used by storm and is considered to be fast and a goal threat.

Career

Ayub Daud came at the age of five with his family in Northern Italy Cuneo and initially played for the local club AC Cuneo. Since 2000, Daud is under contract at Juventus, where he went through all the youth teams. In 2009 he won the Primavera Juventus, where he has played since 2007, the prestigious Torneo di Viareggio and was at the tournament with eight goals scorer.

His debut in the first team of Juventus was Ayub Daud 14 March 2009 in a 4-1 home victory in the Serie A match against FC Bologna when he came in to replace Claudio Ranieri in the 88th minute for Sebastian Giovinco.

In July 2009, he moved on loan to FC Crotone.

Daud is the first Somali player in history, who played a game in the top Italian league. Currently, he also plays for the U- 21 team of Somalia.
