Azerbaijan at the 2000 Summer Olympics

Azerbaijan participated in the Summer Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney, Australia with a delegation of 31 athletes, of whom 25 men and six women. It was the second appearance of the country and with the Winter Olympics included their third. It could be won two gold medals and one bronze medal. Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was Namig Abdullayev.
