Azergues

The River at Lozanne

The Azergues is a river in France, which runs in the Rhône-Alpes region in the department of Rhône. It rises in the municipality of Poule- les- Écharmeaux, dehydrated first in a south-easterly direction, pivots in the lower reaches to northeast to north and ends after 62 kilometers in the municipality of Anse as a right tributary of the Saône. On his way to the Azergues crosses the Beaujolais wine growing region.
