Aziak Island

Aziak Iceland (also Azki, Azlak, Azyak, Azik or Azaik ) is a small uninhabited island of the Andreanof Islands, which belong to the Aleutian Islands. The island is about 1.7 km long and is at its highest point about 58 m above sea level.

The name is derived from the Aleut word Aziak ha - Azax. Until 1920 the island under the Sledge Iceland was listed in the cards. To avoid confusion with a 1500 km north island, they received their original Aleut name.
