Azmeraw Bekele

Azmeraw Bekele (born 22 January 1986) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.

In 2010 he won the Marrakech Marathon over the half marathon distance in 1:00:57 h After he won the Ethiopian elimination race for the World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz, where he contributed with a 22nd place on winning the bronze medal of his team. In the summer he won at the Corrida de Langueux in 28:13 min, in the fall he won the Great Ethiopian Run.
