Azores Current

The Azores Current is a warm ocean current in the northern subtropical Atlantic Ocean. It arises as a tap of the Gulf Stream; about a quarter of the water masses of the Gulf Stream flows along the 35th to the 40th parallel to the east. Southeast of the Azores fed the now slightly cooled Azores power much of the Canaries current.
