Azra Kolaković

Azra Kolaković ( born January 1, 1977 in Bihać ), artist name Donna Ares, is a Bosnian turbo - folk singer. It is popular in the Western Balkans.

She busied herself even as a toddler playing with music. Both parents are musicians, of which she has certainly inherited her musical talent. Your mother gives piano lessons at a music school and her father is a former pop-rock guitarist.

As a little girl she has performed at festivals and children since the age of 14 she joined the rock group " Camino Verde " in the local nightclubs as a singer on. At age 16, she wrote her first lyrics and takes her first song on. She earned a degree at a music school and studied English at a university.

In 1997 she enters for the first time by her stage name "Donna Ares " on. In the same year she celebrates a huge success on the festival Bihac in Bosnia with her song " Kazna " ( punishment ). In 1998, she takes her first album Ti me vise ne Volis ( You love me no more) on. The album was recorded in Sunny Studio in Duisburg.

After 2 years the album Donna Live appeared in 2000. In this album she has renewed old folk hits. On this album also evergreen songs like Woman are so excited I'm in love or.

In 1999, she wrote the text for the duet with the singer Halid Bešlić Sviraj Ernesto narodno.
