AZS Koszalin

AZS Koszalin is a Polish basketball club, which plays in the Polish Basketball League.

History

The club was founded on October 8, 1968. With the intention of the founders, it was to revive the sport life in Koszalin and the region between Szczecin and Gdansk. At the beginning, the club offered a number of sports: volleyball, basketball, swimming, athletics, badminton and judo.

AZS grew up and went a number of collaborations with local schools in Koszalin. As a result of these collaborations, some national and even international successes came a. Students of these schools were known Olympic athletes and represented Poland international.

Finally, AZS mainly focused on the basketball team of men, the women 's basketball team moved in 1999 from competitive operating back.

Currently, all the attention of the first team applies. The training for children and adolescents is also geared towards this goal. Finally, the climbs were followed in the First League and 2003 in the Playoff Final and in 2010 the income of the Polish Basketball Cup.
