Azucena Berrutti

Azucena Berrutti ( born January 7, 1929 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan politician.

She holds a doctorate lawyer Azucena Berrutti that the Frente Amplio and consulted within that of the Partido Socialista del Uruguay, was from 1990 to 1995 Secretary General of the Intendency of Montevideo. She held in place of Yamandú Fau from 1 March 2005 to 1 March 2008 in the government of President Tabaré Vázquez, the Office of the Minister of Defence. Then Berrutti was in February 2009 President of the Sodré.

Berrutti turned 2010 in her book " Ministras " against lifting the Ley de caducidad, which led to public discussions.
