Azuchi, Shiga

Azuchi (Japanese安 土 町, -chō ) was one, located near the eastern shore of Lake Biwa, Japanese City in Gamo -gun in Shiga Prefecture. On March 21, 2010 she was united to the community Omihachiman.

History

After Oda Nobunaga had become one of the most powerful men in Japan, he left in 1576 in Azuchi, which was a small town at the time, a mighty castle built of stone.
