B'Day Anthology Video Album

B'Day Anthology Video Album is the first video album by American R & B singer Beyoncé Knowles. The video album contains thirteen music videos for each song of her second music album B'Day (2006) and his deluxe publication (2007). The album was released on April 3, 2007 by Knowles record label Columbia Records along with the deluxe edition of B'Day and was available on the Wal- Mart stores. Later, retailers were able to sell the album. Knowles turned specially nine music videos for the album and added the four music videos of the single releases. All music videos that were meant only for the album were shot within two weeks. The B'Day Anthology Video Album was a sales success in America and was honored by the Recording Industry Association of America ( RIAA ) double platinum. Outside of North America you could buy the video album with the B'Day Deluxe Edition. The music video for Still in Love ( Kissing You ) Knowles brought a prosecution for copyright infringement, the Knowles used in addition to, to promote the video album.

Background

Knowles said that she turned the B'Day Anthology Video Album because they always " wanted to record a video album" so that their fans do not need to log in to Youtube to see their music videos because they are the videos on their can view DVD. Knowles already knew before starting work on this album, as the music video should look like. She planned her hair style, the outfits and her makeup. Knowles wanted that every music video is different from the others and describes something new, but they used various film techniques, fashion and styling. The B'Day Anthology Video album contains thirteen music videos, with additional videos that describe the emergence of the music video. The music video for Déjà Vu, Ring the Alarm, Irreplaceable and lists were done before the start of the album. The other nine music videos have been produced especially for the album over a period of two weeks. Only for the song on the album Resentment is not a music video included. According to Vibe magazine, Knowles presented with thirteen music videos the record for the most video releases in one year.

Publication and reception

The album was released on April 3, 2007 by Knowles record label Columbia Records along with the deluxe edition of B'Day and was available on the Wal- Mart stores. As of June 19, 2007, retailers were able to sell the album. Irremplazable a Spanish-language EP by Knowles, was in the United States included as a bonus CD on the video album. Dispute over the authorship of

Knowles coverte the Des'ree Kissing You - title for the deluxe edition of B'Day and called it in to Still in Love ( Kissing You ). She turned the music video for this song for her B'Day Anthology Video Album; However, Knowles had no permission to publish the song in visual form. After the release of the video album Knowles was accused by Des'ree for copyright infringement. Knowles was able to prevent a lawsuit and had to pay U.S. $ 150,000 compensation, but got the charges in the media and the press attention, and Knowles used this attention to promote the album successful. The music video for Still in Love ( Kissing You ) was removed after the indictment from the album and albums in which this music video was still included, were recalled in April 2007.
