B-Real

B-Real ( born June 2, 1970 in Southgate, civil Louis Freese ) is an American rapper who became known with the group Cypress Hill.

Life and work

B-Real was born the son of a Mexican and a Cuban in South Gate, near Los Angeles. In Southgate, he also joined a street gang called " 89th Street Family ", which was included among the Bloods gangs. Since 1988 he is member of the hip hop group Cypress Hill. His nasal voice singing is his trademark.

In addition to Cypress Hill B-Real has been involved in various other projects. Among other things, he was discoverer and promoter of the duo Psycho Realm, Everlast supported on the album Eat At Whitey's and the metal band Fear Factory on their album Digimortal. In 2006, he took with Snoop Dogg on the song for his album Tha Vato Blue Carpet Treatment; He also has released four solo mixtapes, on which he was also supported by Eminem and Mellow Man Ace.

In February 2009, published B-Real released his first solo album under the title " Smoke & Mirrors" via Duck Down.
