B. G. (Rapper)
Dorsey grew up in New Orleans, was already at the age of 14 years signed to Cash Money Records and released in the late nineties his first albums, which were local successes. In 1999 followed the album Chopper City in the Ghetto, which was awarded by the RIAA platinum.
After a dispute with his label in 2002, he left this and founded his own label at Koch Records Choppa City. This was followed Disstracks against his former colleagues Baby ( Birdman today ) and against Lil Wayne (with whom he has now reconciled ). In his new label he also had success, such as with his album The Heart Of Tha Streetz Vol. 2, which made it to the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. For the beginning of 2008 the album Too Hood to Be Hollywood was announced, but it was published in December 2009.
