B. T. Express

BT Express ( originally named Brooklyn Trucking Express) was an American Funk-/Disco-Band 1970s, with several hits in the same decade.

The band was founded in 1972 under the name "King Davis House Rockers ," but was later renamed BT Express. The breakup of the band was completed in 1981.

Michael Jones, as a keyboard player in the band from 1976 to 1979, left the band later adopted by his stage name " Kashif " some plates on and had some hits in the R & B in the 80s.

Chart successes

B.t. Express; Best known by the # 2 Billboard Hot 100 singles Do It ( 'Til You're Satisfied ) of 1974 (also # 1 on the Hot Dance Music / Club Play charts was ), and by the follow-up single Express ( Hot 100 # 4). This was followed by some of the top 100 rankings, but after the album Shout! left after the chart success.

B.T. Express goodbye to 1980 completely off the charts and tried with BT Express a comeback in 1980, but only managed Give up the Funk (Let's Dance) the way in the Top 30 (# 24). It was followed by numerous attempts at other record labels, including at Record Shack, Earthtone, and King Davis. However, it was not to build on earlier successes.
