BoB Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray is the debut album of American rapper BoB, which was published on 27 April 2010 on the Grand Hustle Records label, Rebel Rock Entertainment and Atlantic Records.
Publication
In November 2009, BoB stated during an interview, his debut album, to be published in May 2010. In February 2010, he released a mixtape called May 25, the title should indicate the date of publication of The Adventures of Bobby Ray. However, when the first pre-release single of the album, Nothin 'On You, worldwide, a greater success than was expected, they moved the release date prior to April 27.
Reviews
After the album's release, it received a rating of 67/100 from Metacritic. Allmusic writer David Jeffries gave the album a rating of and praised the musical vision of Bobby Ray. Los Angeles Times writer Todd Martens gave the album a rating of and said it put a young Kanye West, BoB. Paul MacInnes of The Guardian gave the album a rating of stars and criticized the fact that there is a lack of passion the album.
