Ba FC

Ba FC is a Fijian football club that plays in the National Football League, the highest Fijian Football League. His home matches played in the team Govind Park in Ba. Because of their black jerseys the players are also known as Men in Black.

History

1935 originated in the Ba Ba Indian Football Association ( BIFA ), a regional league for football teams from the province of Ba. As part of this competition, the club was founded in 1935 with the support of Ami Chandra, a teacher of Ba and the local sugar company. 1940 played four teams in the regional league in the 50 other clubs were founded and joined the BIFA. A select team of Ba took part in a league which was organized by the Northern District Association. Competition was open to teams in the Western Division of the island of Viti Levu. In 1938, the Fiji Football Association was founded, Ba was one of the first members. The Ba Indian Football Association changed its name to Ba Football Association, so that players could play all nationalities during Ba FC.
