Ba Khin

Sayagyi U Ba Khin ( born March 6, 1899 in Yangon, Myanmar, † January 19, 1971 ibid ) was a meditation teacher for Vipassana meditation in the tradition of Theravada Buddhism.

Today there are several international meditation centers that rely on the teaching tradition of U Ba Khin. The International Meditation Centre in Yangon was founded by Sayagyi U Ba Khin. The directly therefrom resulting centers are now run by U Ba Khin schoolgirl mother Sayamagyi.

The U Ba Khin teachers counted Saya Thetgyi to its famous pupils SN Goenka.

Method of Body Sweeping
