Bábism

The Babism (Persian بابی ها Bábí hā, DMG hā Babi, Bahai transcription Bábí há ) is a derived from the Persian Bab name of a religious community that emerged in the mid -19th century in Iran ( Persia ). Starting from Shiite Islam and its interpretations in the mystical sense of the religious founders sought Bab social reforms and improved status of women. Currently still live a few hundred to a few thousand Babi, " Azali " called in Iran.

As Holy Scriptures of the Babism written by the Bab works are regarded as the "Arab Policy " (al- Bayan al-' Arabi ) and the " Persian Declaration" ( Bayan- i- Farsi), the "Book of five classes " ( Kitab - i- panj sha'n ), the " Book of Names " ( Kitab -i - Asma ), the "Seven evidence" ( Dala'il -i Sab'ih ) and the " advocate of the name " ( Qayyumu'l - Asma ).

Inner Islamic movements

The occurrence of " the Bab "

The Persian Sayyid Ali Muhammad Mahdi interpreted the idea of the Shiites to the extent that he saw a purely spiritual innovator without worldly claim to power in the expected Twelfth Imam. From 1844, he claimed himself to be the innovator as Bab, thus founding a new era. Its motion was rapid spread throughout the country, but also encountered strong opposition of Shiite orthodoxy and state violence. His new religion law is contained in the applicable sacred book Bayan.

The separation from Islam

1846 the Bab was captured. Tracking

More than 20,000 Babi were tortured and executed because of their beliefs. The Bab himself was executed publicly in July 1850 and two years later Qurrat al - ʿ Ain and 27 more Babis were executed.
