Babka (cake)

Babka is the name of a product originating in Central and Eastern sweet Hefekuchens, which is traditionally served mainly in the United States of America, where he was introduced by Polish immigrants, on Easter Sunday. Babka usually contains a fruit filling - particularly often raisins - and is mostly covered with a frosting with fruit flavor. Alternatively Babka can also be made with cheese or prepared with chocolate dough.
