Baboucarr-Blaise Jagne

-Blaise Ismaila Jagne Baboucarr ( born February 11, 1955 in Banjul) is a Gambian politician and diplomat. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Gambia.

Jagne belonged to the Cabinet as Secretary of State of The Gambia for the first time on 20 March 1995 to 8 March 1997. In a second term, he held this position on 30 August 2001 to 14 October 2004. In the meantime, he served from July 1997 to April 1998 as his country's ambassador in Saudi Arabia; then he was. between May 1998 August 2001 Permanent Representative of Gambia to the United Nations in New York In June 1999 he stood as president before the Security Council.
