Baby Mama is an American comedy film from the year 2008. Directed by Michael McCullers, who also wrote the screenplay.
Action
Kate Holbrook, a successful, single businesswoman. She wants to have a child, but she learns that she at age 37 has hardly a chance. The worker Angie Ostrowiski should be fertilized in the clinic run by Chaffee Bicknell and bear a child for Holbrook.
The fertilization is unsuccessful, however, after Angie sleeping with Carl and this becomes pregnant, what she does not know at first. She feigns a pregnancy before Kate until she learns that she is really pregnant. You can Kate but still in the belief that the child was hers. The fraud falls on at a baby shower for Kate and Angie. There, Angie learns, however, that the baby does not necessarily have to be their own, it might as well be that of Kate. Kate is furious and sends Angie for the next time in a hotel. Meanwhile, Kate meets with former attorney Rob; the two are a couple. A DNA test proves that the baby Angie 's what Kate hard hits. As Angie's waters break, she brings Kate to the hospital and forgives her. There Angie gives birth to a healthy girl, Stefani, and Kate learns that she is pregnant. Kate and Rob get married then and get their common baby.

The film was shot in New York City and Philadelphia. The cost of production was estimated at 30 million U.S. dollars. The world premiere took place on 23 April 2008 at the Tribeca Film Festival. Two days later, the wide release began in the cinema of the United States and Canada.
