Baceno
Baceno ( Lombard language: Bascén ) is a municipality with 914 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Valle Antigorio directly on the border with Switzerland in the Italian province of Verbano -Cusio -Ossola (VCO ) in the Piedmont region.
The municipality consists of the villages Alpe Devero, Croveo, Goglio, Rifugio Castiglioni E. all'Alpe devero and Rifugio Sesto Calende all'Alpe devero. The neighboring municipalities are Crodo, Formazza Premia and Varzo and on the Swiss side community Binn, with which there is a community partnership, and the community Grengiols.
The municipality covers an area of 68 km ².
The most famous landmark is the Bacenos San Gaudenzio Church.
