Back to Now is the seventh album by the American funk / soul trio Labelle. The album was released on 21 October 2008 in the USA. It is the comeback album of the trio and their first in 32 years.

Background

According to members of the group comes from the title back to Now earlier songs of the group and to be a reference to those. They want there to pick up where they had left off in 1977.

The first single Roll Out, which was produced by Wyclef Jean, where he was also involved in singing, was released on 18 November 2008. For the song of Auto-Tune has been used.

Critics praised the album Modern Contemporary R & B ballad Super Lover. Except in The Truth Will Set You Free where Hendryx takes over the lead vocals alongside Lenny Kravitz on guitar, the other songs were sung by all members. Praise was also Labelle's soprano vocals in the title system. Tears for the World, a Hendryx composition, was also praised for the powerful and soulful singing of the members.
