Bacon jam

The Verhackert (also Verhackerts, Mince, in Carinthia region also Sasaka of Slovenian minced lard ) is a spread made from smoked, minced bacon, which is common, especially in Austria and Slovenia. It is, inter alia, an important part of the so-called Brettljause. Sometimes it is offered less frequently in cans or jars in grocery stores, butcher shops and farmers' markets in the form of sausages with plastic skin.

The ingredients of Spread for Bread consist of bacon, pork, salt and spices such as garlic and pepper.
