Bad Acid Trip is an American Thrash-Metal-/Grindcore-Band from North Hollywood, California.

Band History

Bad Acid Trip was founded in 1990 in North Hollywood and its origins in Powerviolence and grindcore scene, but slowly away from its local beginnings and always took on more influences from thrash metal. After many demos, EPs and splits the band System of a Down came into contact. SOAD singer Serj Tankian took the band for his label Serjical Strike under contract and has released the albums For the Weird by the Weird (1999), Lynch the Weirdo (2004) and Humanly Possible ( 2011). SOAD guitarist Daron Malakian - produced the albums Lynch the Weirdo and Humanly Possible. In 2005, the band on the album Enter the Chicken by Buckethead & Friends could be heard. In 2006, the band part of the Ozzfest.
