Bad Endorf ( until 1987 officially: Endorf i.OB ) is a market in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, which was recognized in 1987 as a spa state. Since 1988, the place under the name of "Bad" in place names.

Geographical Location
The market is located around 15 km north-east of Rosenheim, 20 km south of Wasserburg am Inn, 30 km west of Traunstein, 8 km north of Prien am Chiemsee and 13 km from the motorway 8 drive away (Junction Bernau am Chiemsee ).

History
During the period of Roman rule ( province Raetia ) led a Roman road from Salzburg to Augsburg about today's municipal area. 924 was the first documentary mention in the archives of the Archbishop of Salzburg with the notation " Zennidorf ". Endorf has long been an official of the reign gamekeeper, which was equipped with the reign Hohenaschau with the high court. Personalities
- Wolfgang Clemen (1909-1990) was an important Anglist and has made outstanding contribution to Shakespeare studies. He is regarded as the new founder of the English Department at the University of Munich after the Second World War.
