Geographical Location

The town of Bad Laasphe is located in the upper Lahn Valley in the former Wittgenstein. The metropolitan area is located southeast of the main ridge of the Rothaargebirge, a part of the Rhenish Slate Mountains, and is bordered to the north by the town of Bad Berleburg and the community Erndtebrück, on the east by the city Biedenkopf in Hesse, on the southeast by Breidenbach, to the south by Dietzhölztal and west on the town Netphen.

History
