Baden (Ontario)

Baden is a town in Ontario, which is north of New Hamburg, northwest of Kitchener, Waterloo and west of the south-west of Elmira. The place belongs to Wilmot. The distance from Toronto is about 120 km

In Baden is the historic Castle Kilbride, built in 1877 by James Livingston. Livington was a businessman and member of the Canadian House of Commons. The house was bought by the municipality Wilmot in 1993 and $ 6.2 million for prepared again. The house bears the name of Livingston's birthplace in Scotland. The village was named after the German Baden -Baden.
