Badendorf
Badendorf ( Low German Badendörp ) is a municipality in the district Stormarn in Schleswig-Holstein.
History
Its name is probably derived from Knight Bado, is said to have sold around 1150 the Wends from this area. The village itself was first mentioned in 1302, when it was sold to the monastery Reinfeld.
After the dissolution of the monastery in 1583 Badendorf was administered by the old official Reinfeld from. In the Prussian era came in 1889 for the district of Zarpen, which was transformed into the Office Zarpen 1948. Since the municipal reorganization in 1972 the place is part of the new official North Stormarn.
Policy
Of the eleven seats in the municipal council voters Community KWV has since the municipal election held on May 26, 2013 six seats and the CDU five seats. The turnout was 60%.

Personalities
Erna Leinius († 2005), which was 30 years mayor, was made an honorary citizen of the community.
The German eventer Marina Köhncke, which was, among other German champion in 1993, lives and works in Baden village.
