Badlands Observatory

The Badlands Observatory ( Badlands Observatory) is an astronomical observatory in South Dakota. It was founded in 2000 by Ron Dyvig from the Kitt Peak National Observatory and is operated by the Black Hills Astronomical Society.

It is located in the town of Quinn in Pennington County South Dakota and carries the IAU number 918

The main instrument is a telescope having a diameter of 66 cm.
